I’m surprised at how low prices are in Austin. I have a great property in a great area, and the prices seem so low, and once I hire a cleaner, which I’ve been doing all myself, there’s little money to be made. Also, I understand October is supposed to be a busy month, and I don’t want to open my calendar until I have an idea of what I should charge per night, by the week, by the month? I don’t know how to get a grip on the time to raise prices. I’ve learned to lower days like M, T, W, raise some on Thurs, and Fri and Sat be prime, but I’m still lost in planning ahead or how to really succeed in this business.
